
As part of our continuous commitment to church empowerments, we were delighted once more to have partnered with Mururung branch church under the Gander memorial, Wewak Island district, East Sepik Mission of the Seventh Day Adventist church to conduct this training. Training covers practical scenarios and activities which continued from the previous sessions on Financial Literacy (Budgets & Savings), Business development skills (skills and attitude of an entrepreneur, costings of a product/services, bookkeeping, cash flow projections with motivations and shared experiences to be disciplined, think business, take the first step out with consistency and determination to achieve each goal. The training marked the completion of the second phase of the Financial Literacy and Business development Skills Training. First phase was conducted early March this year. The 31 participants (24 women, 8 men and 9 youths) who satisfactorily completed the second phase will be issued with certificates on a later date.
